Casona de los Sapos Hotel Boutique exceeds any expectation in the heart of Puebla! From the moment of arrival. 10000/10 recommended. Can’t wait to be back! 1. Tostadas Poblanas de Res. Intriguing robust flavors that velvet their way through your pallet, first accentuating the bright acid of the dark chocolate immediately following a soft balance of toasted nuts and breadcrumbs sweet and savory! The soft tender cotton-ball feel of the shredded beef barely hanging from each fiber melds with velvety chocolate elixir. The firm tortilla toasted to perfect crunch and texture delivers through the oil emulsión between the séame seeds and the mole distill. There are many restaurants in Puebla but none that use an entire team starting from reception, concierge, waiters and maintenance to create an experience during your stay. A Culinary brigade treasure hidden within these walls! Chef with extraordinary capital in flavors and meeting expectations from various pallets. 2. Beef Tartar Tostada: imagine a fine white Chardonnay crisp and cold with fruity scent and bright apples! And as it warms to room temperature the flavor profile changes tu a buttery savory balance tango for your mouth. The beef tartar tostada does the same in using an original Argentinian chimichurry sauce that envelops the cured gamy beef for days accentuating the natural salts and bright spiced vinegar to balance the fat. The perfume of the fried parsley and thin sliced onions entwines with the fragrance of the chimichurry sauce. As the combination of the tartar springs the perfectly ripe avocado pieces set as footings for the tower creates a buttery soft fresh ending to the bite right before the fireworks of the blue maíz tostada crisp perfectly balance to envelope your bite on a culinary escapade. 3. Lengua Ramen: broth comprised of an array of fresh and toasted chilies simmered for days to extract a trinity of essential salty, Acidic, Fatty complex flavors. The sticky lip sensation of slurping through the tongue’s broth and the chilis sparks through a gasoline filled combustion of flavor which the only thing that balances the fire is the green spring onion emulsion that serves as an effervescent through the ramen eggy noodles wrestling through a perfectly boiled egg oozing the Clair, enriching the texture of the broth. Should I say more? Time stopping experience. 4. Chocolate Soufflé: end your day with a dark chocolate soufflé filled with creamy toasted pistachios and citric fruits! Strawberries, oranges, & topped with a one of a kind panacotta cream of elderflowers. The sensation of the bittersweet symphony embellished through culinary art!

Excellent central location and without doubt the best shower we have had in travels through Mexico! Water pressure, handheld shower and immediate hot water!! Huge rooms with comfy beds, a ton of storage and a nice big bathroom. We didn't eat in the hotel as there's a lot of restaurant options nearby but it does have in house restaurant Great location in the historic centre, near to a ton of sights. Has a gym and small pool upstairs

Had a dinner for 20 people. Food was not that impressive. Small portion and just fancy decorations. Their chocolate cake desert was so good. The restaurant atmosphere is really awesome, especially for dinner setting. The beautiful and historical brick building will make you feel you are in a different world. The swimming pool is small though and the waiters dont understand English well. Their service is very good once they know what you want.

What a wonderful experience! I absolutely loved staying there and highly recommend this hotel. It's right in the center of downtown Puebla, waking distance from the cathedral. The service is impeccable, friendly, helpful, kind and happy. Every detail is beautiful and well thought of. I wish I could just move in there. The rooms are gorgeous, big, comfortable and with unbelievable attention to detail.

We had our wedding here recently. The hotel is very unique and beautify. The rooms are all very nice and the location is great. If you are there during the weekend, check out the market just outside that sets up. The service and the food were stellar and I can't say enough about them. We were always well attended to and the people were very nice through the entire trip. The AC systems in the room were a little difficult to work with but that was a minor issue. We will be coming back in the future.

We recently spent 5 nights in this lovely hotel and appreciated the kind and helpful staff, the quiet and comfort of our room for sleeping, the wonderful heated pool, the great spa (for massages), the small but functional gym & sauna, and the delicious food. The location is central to many sites (and great restaurants) in the historic center of Puebla within easy walking distance. Thanks to Miguel for your help at the front desk, to Gerardo for your delicious Mezcalitas, and to Daniel, Oswaldo and Fidel for your recommendations and attentive service at the Restaurant. The hotel, as others have mentioned, also has a wonderful French bakery which infuses the property with the scent of freshly baked items — also delicious! We look forward to staying again with Casona de los Sapos when we return.

One of the best experiences I've had at a hotel. The entire staff is extremely professional, genuinely kind, and happy to help. The place on its own and the rooms are splendid. The restaurant's menu is delicious. Finally it's perfectly located, with everything you will want to visit in Puebla a couple of blocks away.
